Location
Absolute beachfront reserve. There is so much to do in the area, taking day trips to wineries at Coolangatta, Kangaroo Valley and Berry, Take the local ferry from Myola to Huskisson for markets and dolphin watch cruises. Explore the local National Parks, launch your boat from the ramp or do a spot of fishing from the jetty. Surf beaches close by or a short drive to Callala Beach with its gentle waves for lazing about.
Callala Bay shopping centre offers all your shopping needs including IGA supermarket with fruit and veg, deli, and fresh meat, local butcher, chemist, bottle shop, hairdresser/beautician. There is also a local restaurant and take away store. Callala Beach has a take away shop, hairdresser. After a game of golf at the local country club enjoy dinner with friends in the bistro. Please note we do not have a petrol station in the area and the nearest one is about a 15 min drive.

Wonderful location
Ashling - 14th October 2021A wonderful location and huge space - great for friend groups or families. Located right on the beach, with amenities and Callala Beach not too far a walk, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a restful weekend
Right by the water
Fiona - 14th October 2021This is a lovely, large, well-maintained, very clean home in a pretty location right by the water. It was ideal for us, a group of 5 mature friends who often enjoy weekends away as each of us prefers our own room. Air BnB let us each pay our share separately, too. Antonia was lovely and helpful. Most beds were comfortable as were the lounges, and much of the furnishings are quite new, while the large BBQ was a bonus. We initially had some trouble with the hot water, but it turned out to be a just a switch that was turned off. Tips for future guests: BYO linen means sheets, pillowslips, towels, hand towels, bathmats and tea towels. Bring electric fans in summer, especially for the back room, as it was quite hot; the front of the house gets a lovely sea breeze. There is air conditioning in the front part but we didn't see the control unit (in the study) until the weather had cooled, so didn't use it but it looks ducted. All in all, a most enjoyable weekend escape.

Georgie - 14th October 2021Echidna is a fantastic Airbnb - even better than it looks in photos! The place is huge, plenty of space with two great outdoor areas. Right on the water - amazing location. Very nice quiet area. Great communication from the host - all round 5 star experience, would love to stay again
